MBM Forest Products began in 1966 as a UK/Canadian co-operation. Today our ties with Canada remain in place and we are the exclusive Sales Agent in the UK and Ireland for Western Forest Products Inc, BC.

Western Forest Products is considered to be the leading BC coastal sawmilling group, managing the forest areas under its stewardship with great sensitivity and converting logs within its own sawmills. Their annual available harvest is 7.5 million cubic metres of which 7.3 million cubic metres are from publicly owned forest. They operate eight sawmills and four further wood-processing plants.

Our strong association with Canada also extends to the East, where we maintain a long-term trading connection with J. D. Irving, Limited, also one of Canada's largest timber producers.

When considering environmental impact, timber consumers can feel reassured that Canada is probably the most closely regulated and environmentally aware of the entire world's timber-supply regions. We carry independently certified stocks meeting FSC and PEFC standards.
