European Oak has been a significant species in the UK market for many years becoming the first-choice timber for many diverse projects and end uses. With its exceptional durability and strength properties, combined with fantastic workmanship and aesthetic beauty it is clear to see why it is so popular.
European Oak in its own right has become a speciality and our stockholding can accommodate a wide and extensive range of grades and sizes. We source our Oak from the most reputable mills on the continent after extensive visits and research to bring the very best quality to the UK market.
All our Oak is rough sawn, kiln dried, square edged and fully FSC® certified. The main grades available are Prime and Joinery, however others are available to source on request. Predominantly it is sold in full packs of random widths (100mm & wider) and lengths ranging from 2.1m & longer. However, lengths can range from 0.9m to 5.0m+ and some specific products brought in are 230mm & wider.
